In 2018, Idlewild was reinvented by owners Julie Clark and Jessica Murray, along with store director Tessa Clark. Each an artist in their own right – ceramicist, photographer, and designer – the trio of women wanted to bring a new point of view to Cincinnati, an oft-overlooked gem of the Midwest. They are proud to be part of the movement of women-owned business and focus on making an impact in the local community. Cincinnati is the heart and soul of Idlewild and continues to be a constant source of inspiration.
Tessa was a design contestant on Season 17 of Project Runway on Bravo, where she was touted by celebrity judges as having a great sense of styling and good taste. At Idlewild, you can experience this any day of the week while working with Tessa herself, or her trained team of in-store stylists.
